Day 1,600,093 . . . Just 3 to Go and then the floor drops out

This year has come to a close much sooner than I ever could have expected. It has been one of the best of the four I have spent here in the Burg, and there are many things I will miss. Most of all, my co-workers and students who gave a damn about their jobs, their education, and working to improve themselves. For what it is worth, I hope that you all continue to do so, or that you move on to where you can.

For those co-workers and students who wish to stay in contact, this blog will be it. I hope to see many of you over the course of the summer, but my time here in Reedsburg will be limited. I leave for Rwanda on July 1st, and will not return until July 31st. I plan to keep you all updated as often as I can throughout that month (however, I have no idea what kind of computer access I will have in Rwanda-I'm hoping for something like once a week or so). So enjoy your 4th, and remember that this country was founded on the idea of dissent.

After I return, I will only be around for about another month and a half until Jen and I head east for our stagging and then eventual departure for Malawi. Again, this blog will be updated as often as possible once we are in-country (and again, no idea on access yet). We are excited and impatient to go.

I apologize for the picture, most of you know who I am, so we'll leave it at that. More to come later, I promise.
